Domain Trust Cannot Be Contacted

I ve discovered trying to investigate issues with java apps trying to authenticate against ad that ldap lookups are referred to this dns name for the actual ldap query.

Domain trust cannot be contacted. Please verify that the pdc emulator and the network are both online and functioning properly i am not sure what is causing this. This works in most cases where the issue is originated due to a system corruption. Ensure that the domain name is typed correctly. When i attempt to check my trusts by right clicking on my ad domain i get the error. If the name is correct click details for troubleshooting information.

Please let me know what i can do to get this going. I also tried dropping all firewalls temporarily but no luck. Specified domain does not exist or could not be contacted.
